Once a week I go to play pool (i.e. 8-ball) in this pool hall. It´s underground with good dozen - or so - pool and snooker tables. There are half a dozen (give or take) of us, we´re all recovering from meltal illness of some sort. Peer Support Group you can call us. It´s fun to have something outside your house activities with social contacts. Many of us are pretty lonely, not many understand us due our health issues. We´re all "quater crazies" so we get along very well.
Snookeria olen katsonut telkkarista aika paljon, mielenkiintoinen peli.
ReplyDeleteHyvä, että sulla on tuo paikka ja samanhenkiset kaverit.
Joo, itsekin tulee katsottua monesti. Varsinkin vasenkätinen veli bipolaari Ronnie O. Sullivan on ihan paras.
...have a Pepsi!
ReplyDeleteThe choice of new generation that is. Without sugar and caffeine but of cource.
DeleteIt is quite chilly from the frame there
ReplyDeleteIt was 5°C (41°F), that´s why snow is mostly gone.
DeleteSeems like fun!
ReplyDeleteIt is just that.
Deleteit is great to have a "gang" to hang with regularly.
ReplyDeleteOh yes indeed Klara.
DeleteI have mental illness in my family, I am on the autism spectrum and so are my 3 adult children, it's inherited from my mum's father. Being normal is boring.
ReplyDeleteI´ve been psychiatric wards several times in my life. In this crazy world some times it seems that most sane people are those with some mental illness.
